One of New York’s best bets for a business breakfast downtown is Danny Meyer’s Maialino. He makes the ultimate cacio e pepe eggs served in a big ramekin. I crave it nonstop so I finally perfected my interpretation of it. I scramble eggs with a bit of olive oil and then as soon as I take them off the stove I sprinkle Parmesan flakes on top of them with a bit of fresh cracked pepper. It really is the perfect protein rich breakfast.

I’ve long been a fan of the site Serena & Lily for their supremely beautiful selection of interiors items. First I found gorgeous items for my daughters room (they make the cutest kids’ bedding), then great throw pillows and blankets for our apartment and now oodles of things for our beach house. They are in their second season of their first ever brick and mortar shop which is in Wainscott and the store is so beautifully merchandised.

There’s nothing as relaxing as opening a bottle of rosé at the beach at sunset. I’ve been on the hunt for glasses that are as chic as the experience. Finally, I found these at Loaves and Fishes Cookshop in Bridgehampton. The shade of blue is beautiful, they’re melamine which makes them perfect for the beach and they have a point at the bottom so they stand up in the sand.
