I’ll admit it … being at a cocktail party with me, particularly one in gorgeous weather using homegrown ingredients, has it’s drawbacks. I’m always taking photos. This one, a rainbow of East End beets, I snapped at a party at The Hayground School. Thin toasts with a simple goat cheese spread, pistachios and beets was the ideal hors d’oeuvre.
