One of New York’s best bets for a business breakfast downtown is Danny Meyer’s Maialino. He makes the ultimate cacio e pepe eggs served in a big ramekin. I crave it nonstop so I finally perfected my interpretation of it. I scramble eggs with a bit of olive oil and then as soon as I take them off the stove I sprinkle Parmesan flakes on top of them with a bit of fresh cracked pepper. It really is the perfect protein rich breakfast.
