Bicycle Obsession

Bicycle Obsession

My bicycle obsession continues and it turns out at 37 you can learn how to ride a bike. I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t know how but I’m on the road to fixing that. Now everywhere I turn I see one adorable bike after another. This one, on display outside of one of my favorite West Village restaurants Buvette, has an adorable basket full of wine corks! Brooklyn Cruisers

Brooklyn Cruisers

I’ve just worked on the most fabulous collaboration between Hamptons Magazine, Brooklyn Cruisers, The Group for the East End and Charity Buzz. Hamptons Magazine to celebrate its 35th anniversary selected 10 people to decorate bikes including Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan, Elie Tahari, Governor Cuomo and yours truly. This is my bike inspired by all of the things I adore about the Hamptons. It’s crisp and airy, filled with shells, raffia and dogwood and has a curated collection of my favorite Hamptons themed books. The funds raised go to The Group for the East End and you can bid on it through Charity Buzz here: https://www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/361801.

The furniture is the most beautifully curates antiques I’ve ever seen and it sits aside all of the brands Natascha loves and has brought exclusively to the Hamptons like Frederic Malle. As she gave me a personal tour around the shop my eye darted to this tangerine hued MONCXIII backgammon board. The fun began because both Natascha and I play. We’re both very competitive it seems as well. Of all the boards I’ve played on this is by far the chicest one and for sale in her shop.
